Madeline lets me know when she wants to go outside by going to the backdoor and finding her shoes. She has now started to try to put the shoes on by herself, unsuccessfully...
She is also continually improving her vocabulary, which we test by asking her to point to things. However, she has enough of a sense of humor that she always points to her nose first no matter what we ask her to point to!
