Spontaneous Much?

Almost 2 weeks ago, we were on our way to have lunch at Evos on our way to take my parents to MARTA after a few days visiting us here in Georgia on their way home from a summer in Scotland. My mom and I were in one car with the kids and starting chatting about how their visit didn't seem long enough and I was sad to have to say goodbye and for Madeline to have to say goodbye. My mom said something about how she was originally thinking about having us come visit Kansas on our way to my brother's wedding...somehow the conversation ended in me checking ticket prices on my phone and all 6 of us (plus my parents' luggage) squeezing into our new 6 passenger car headed to the airport. Madeline, Mason, and I bought tickets at the counter - who does that anymore!? - and joined my parents on their trip home with only the clothes on our backs and the various supplies stashed in my car (diaper bag, stroller, boppy, etc.). Very spontaneous and very fun! When we got to Kansas, we hit some summer clearance sales for a few clothes and other necessities. We stayed in Kansas for about 10 days and had a great visit!
