We were snow-bound for 5 days last week here in Hoth-lanta and you would have thought that between being stuck at home and not being sick anymore after someone in our house having a cold or sinus infection over the last 3 weeks I would have more material for the blog. Somehow I don't. We had a great week and went outside as much as we could - Madeline's rain boots didn't last as long in the snow as snow boots would have and her toddler snow mittens made her look like the kid in A Christmas Story so she wore non-waterproof mittens - both of which made us have to come in frequently for breaks to warm up. Madeline loved the snow and tried to help clear it by eating as much of it as she could when we were outside. Mason improves his skills daily and can now pull himself across the room in his own version of crawling (like a pulling army crawl) and is becoming a realistic threat to play with Madeline's toys (and anything small we accidentally leave on the floor) and is trying to figure out transitions - from sitting to crawling, crawling to sitting, sitting to standing, crawling to standing, etc. He also loves Cheerios and, even though he's still a little guy, he's a good eater and seems to be enjoying solid foods.
Also - For those of you not in the Atlanta area and perhaps from somewhere further north, I hope you realize that school was canceled for all 5 days this week because we had 5 inches of snow (and then freezing temperatures to follow).
