Saturday Morning at the Aquarium

Dad had to work on the first Saturday of the new year so Madeline, Mason and Mom headed to the aquarium for another fun visit! I love the silhouettes that you get taking photos next to the big tank in Ocean Voyager and the bright "natural" light in the Tropical Diver exhibit. It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning!

We always start at the dolphins because in the morning you can get in to see them without a ticket for the show if you get there before they start lining up for the first dolphin show of the day.

Then they chose to go to the big tank in the Ocean Voyager. This video was taken at one of the smaller windows of the big tank in Ocean Voyager.

This picture shows how we had most of the wall of the big tank to ourselves. Mason stood there forever just watching.

Then a shark (in this case I think it's a blacktip reef shark) would swim by.

Madeline was also enjoying the big tank but in this picture was trying to convince Mason to go to the River Scout exhibit where they have a kid-sized tunnel built into the aquarium.

The Tropical Diver exhibit is bright and colorful and another favorite!

Later on after a snack they were getting tired an took in the rest of the exhibits from the stroller. In this photo, the penguin was very interested in Mason's shoe.

The sea otters had their morning snack buried in ice, so they were quite entertaining.

Hope you enjoyed snapshots from our visit to the aquarium!
