Part of growing up must be having realizations about things you thought were different as a child...I didn't mean for that to sound so prophetic and deep, so let me clarify. I have realized this Halloween evening that adults end up with more candy than the kids by either a) overbuying and not having enough trick-or-treaters to compensate (as happened to Andy and I tonight) or b) eating the candy their kids collected (which happened to me as a child). That's my "Deep Thought with Alison" for this evening. Goodnight!
