Monday Night Football

We'll be waving to the cameras tonight from the Monday Night Football matchup in Jacksonville! I'm updating the blog from the lobby of our hotel in Jacksonville, because Andy is still star-struck from what happened to us yesterday and wanted everyone to know who is staying in our hotel. Last night we were standing in front of the hotel waiting for our car to go to dinner and an ESPN bus pulls up. Sure, whatever, it takes a lot of crew, cameramen, etc. to put on a Monday night show. But instead of cameramen and such, guess who walks out of the bus...the ESPN Monday Night Football commentating crew:



Mike Tirico, Tony Kornheiser, Michele Tafoya, & Suzy Kolber (but no Joe Theismann).

Andy's jaw dropped to the floor; he was totally star-struck! So, that's the story for now, look for us on TV tonight!

UPDATE: We ran into (almost literally) Joe Theismann in the lobby, so now we can say that we saw the whole TV crew. But even better than that, Michael Irvin is staying in the room across the hall from us and his door was open when we walked by and we saw him in his boxers!

UPDATE #2: We ran into the who NFL Primetime crew (Michael Irvin, Steve Young, Chris Berman, Tom Jackson) as they were leaving to go to the stadium. I attempted to take pictures as proof, but the best picture is of Steve Young.
