Hair Cut

Mason had his first hair cut about two weeks ago. It doesn't really look that different in the pictures, but the stylist did a really good job of trimming and leaving this hair more like a toddler hair cut and not so much like a boy. For some reason leading up to the hair cut I had in my mind that he had to get the short typical boy hair cut, but the stylist made some good points about trimming it so it can get thicker (and not look like a mullet) and grow in as a full head of hair (he has some spots that are still thin like baby hair) and also emotionally (for mom) not make such a dramatic transition from toddler to boy. She made it look tidier and thicker. I am very happy with the results! Mason did such a good job sitting in the chair (playing with the basket of cars she put in front of him). Maddie got her hair cut before him so that may have helped pave the way for him to be ok with getting his hair cut. Plus he got to sit on the cool kid-size ATV chair!
