We woke up on July 5th, tired from a big day and late night asking ourselves, "what shall we do today?" How do you follow a fun day like the Fourth of July!? We chose to cash in the season passes given by Uncle Graham and Aunt Shannon for the kids birthdays and head to the (airconditioned) aquarium. Mason had a great time and I think it made up for him not attending the fireworks the day before. Madeline discovered the volunteers that answer questions and asked questions at almost every exhibit. In the big tank she asked about the rays (I think because she has seen them recently on the Wild Kratts show on PBS). For lunch we stopped by IKEA and then headed home for naps. A very successful day!
